In 1994, I went to China to learn martial arts, which I had started learning in childhood. After studying martial arts for a year in China, I went to Thailand, where I studied Buddhism again. I studied Buddhism in many countries and was able to compare the differences of Buddhism in those countries. For example, I studied Zen Buddhism in China and Hinayana Buddhism in Sri Lanka and Thailand. 　 　When I stayed in Thailand from 1995 to 1999, I went on a journey following my Buddhist teachers to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, but none of the teachers whom I followed in Thailand nor in China satisfied my expectations. 　 　In November 1999, I got a job in Korea through the encouragement of a friend who was working in Korea. Later, I encountered Jeung San Do panels in English at the Uijeongbu subway station, and, as a result, I began to attend the Uijeongbu Dojang. What attracted me especially was meditation. The phrase “cultivate with one mind” touched my heart, so I started meditation at the dojang and began to read the English Dojeon. But my Korean was poor at that time, and there was no one in the Uijeongbu Dojang who could teach me in English. So I concentrated mainly on Taeeulju Mantra meditation. 　 　증산도를 만난 인연 　저는 불교국가인 스리랑카에서 왔고 불교를 계속 공부해 왔습니다. 그러다가 1994년에는 중국으로 무술을 배우러 가게 되었는데, 어렸을 때부터 무술공부도 해왔기 때문입니다. 1년 정도를 공부한 뒤 1995년에는 타일랜드(태국)에 가서 다시 불교를 공부하게 되었습니다. 중국에서는 선불교(Zen Buddhism)를 배웠고 스리랑카와 타일랜드에서는 소승불교를 배우며 여러 나라 불교의 차이점을 비교해 볼 수 있었습니다. 1995년부터 1999년까지 타일랜드에 머물며 불교의 스승님들을 따라 타이완, 홍콩, 싱가포르를 여행하기도 하였습니다. 그러나 중국이나 타일랜드에서의 선생님들은 저의 기대에 부응하는 큰 스승은 아니었습니다. 　 　1999년 11월 한국에서 일하고 있는 친구의 권유로 한국에 직장을 구하게 되었습니다. 얼마후 의정부역에서 영어로 된 증산도 패널을 보고 특히 수행관에 마음이 끌려 증산도 의정부 도장을 방문하게 되었습니다. 무엇보다 일심(One Mind)으로 수행하라는 말씀이 마음에 와 닿아 도장에서 수행도 하고, 영문판 도전도 읽었습니다. 그러나 제가 한국에 온지 얼마 안 되었기 때문에 한국어도 서툴렀고 의정부 도장에는 영어로 교육해 줄 수 있는 성도님이 안 계셔서 태을주 수행만 하였습니다. 　 >>무료 소책자 신청 클릭<< (증산도.예언.개벽.역사.태을주 수행.고대사.환단고기,사후세계.전생.수행.윤회.우주.음양오행.시사.에 관심있는분 신청하세요) 　 　Taeeulju Meditation Experience 　One day, when I experienced great hardship, I cried a lot at home. Then I chanted the Taeeulju Mantra for about an hour before falling asleep. In my dream, Taesabunim appeared, laughing loudly, “Ha ha ha!” and took me to some place. In a house, I met a woman in white clothes with white hair and big eyes. She was an elderly woman but seemed very young. She put her hand on my forehead. Outside the house, many people in black T-shirts were exercising. That dream moved me, and ever since then, I could let go of what had tormented my mind and never cried for that same matter again. 　 　While in meditation, I felt as if my head was expanding. Sometimes I could also see blue light shining before my eyes and feel my qi gathering. 　 　태을주 수행 체험 　어느 날 제 인생의 큰 어려움이 닥쳤을 때 집에서 크게 울고 난 후 태을주 수행을 한 시간 정도 하고서 잠이 들었습니다. 그런데 꿈에서 태사부님께서 오셔서 “하하하!” 크게 웃으시더니 저를 다른 곳으로 데려가셨습니다. 어떤 집을 들어가니 하얀 옷을 입고 머리도 하얗고 큰 눈을 가진, 나이는 많지만 젊게 보이는 여인이 제 이마에 손을 대는 것이었습니다. 집 밖에서는 많은 사람들이 검은 티셔츠를 입고 운동을 하고 있었습니다. 이 꿈은 매우 인상적이었으며 그 이후 어려움을 마음에서 풀어버리고 저는 그 일로 다시는 울지 않게 되었습니다. 　또 수행을 할 때 머리가 크게 팽창되는 것을 느끼기도 했고 파란 불빛을 보기도 했으며, 기운이 뭉치는 것을 느끼기도 하였습니다. 　 >>무료 소책자 신청 클릭<< (증산도.예언.개벽.역사.태을주 수행.고대사.환단고기,사후세계.전생.수행.윤회.우주.음양오행.시사.에 관심있는분 신청하세요) 　 　Hearing About Gaebyeok 　I attended dynamic meditation (dogong) classes for non-Koreans at Gwanghwamun Dojang and learned Taeeulju meditation exercise. At Sabunim’s public lectures in 2001 and 2002, I learned of cosmology and gaebyeok. But I did not believe in gaebyeok until I saw tsunamis strike India and Sri Lanka last year. The tsunamis reminded me of a prophecy by an old Sri Lankan monk fifty years ago, which I had read in a book. I realized that the prophecy foretelling that a great storm would hit Sri Lanka finally became true. I also felt that gaebyeok which Jeung San Do speaks of would arrive in the near future. 　 　개벽을 실감하다 　광화문 도장의 외국인을 위한 도공체조 클래스에서 태을주 도공체조도 배우고 2001년, 2002년에는 서울 코엑스에서 열린 사부님 강연회에도 참가하여 우주관과 개벽에 관한 말씀을 들었습니다. 개벽이라는 이야기를 그 때 처음 들었고 제대로 몰랐기 때문에 개벽이 오리란 것은 믿겨지지가 않았습니다. 그러다가 작년 스리랑카와 인도의 쓰나미 소식을 접한 뒤, 이것이 스리랑카의 한 예지자 스님이 50년 전 쓴 책의 예언과도 일치한다는 것도 알게 되었으며, 그 일로 인해 증산도에서의 개벽도 가까운 미래에 올 것이라고 확신하게 되었습니다. 　 >>무료 소책자 신청 클릭<< (증산도.예언.개벽.역사.태을주 수행.고대사.환단고기,사후세계.전생.수행.윤회.우주.음양오행.시사.에 관심있는분 신청하세요) 　 　Belief in Sangjenim 　Now I work in Dangjin. I meditate every weekend at Eumnae Dojang in Dangjin. I believe that Jeung San Do is the truth that completes all things. According to Buddhist sutras, there have been twenty buddhas before Shakyamuni Buddha, and Maitreya Buddha is the highest buddha of all, who will come to save the world. I think Maitreya Buddha came to Korea because of the peace-loving mind of the Korean people. Traveling many countries, I have come to believe that people were forced to believe in various absolute beings and suffered consequences if they did not do so. But I truly believe that Sangjenim is the one who will save the world and open the paradise of the Later Heaven. 　 　상제님에 대한 믿음 　지금 저는 당진으로 직장을 옮기게 되어 당진 읍내도장에서 토요일과 일요일마다 수행을 하고 있습니다. 저는 증산도가 모든 것을 완성시키는 진리라고 믿습니다. 불경에는 석가 이전에 28명의 붓다가 있었고, 미륵불은 가장 높은 부처이며 세상을 구원하러 오실 부처라고 얘기합니다. 그 미륵불이 한국으로 오신 이유는 한국 사람들의 평화를 사랑하는 마음 때문이라고 생각합니다. 다른 나라들을 여행하며 알게 되었지만, 알라신이나 다른 종교의 신들은 자기만 믿으라고 하고, 믿지 않으면 사람들을 죽였습니다. 그러나 상제님은 세상을 구원하고, 후천 선경을 열어주시는 분이라고 믿습니다. 　 >>무료 소책자 신청 클릭<< (증산도.예언.개벽.역사.태을주 수행.고대사.환단고기,사후세계.전생.수행.윤회.우주.음양오행.시사.에 관심있는분 신청하세요) 　 　My Future Plans 　My plans for the future are to convey Jeung San Do’s truth in Sri Lanka. Although Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country, people usually become Buddhist believers at temples, but not at their homes. I think Jeung San Do is a perfect teaching, and it is absolutely a practical belief that you can practice in daily life. 　 　The present situation of Sri Lanka is very dangerous and unstable because of the terrorists from the southern part of India. With my certificate to teach martial arts, I would like to start teaching martial arts there, along with Jeung San Do’s teachings of the spirit world in order to spread Sangjenim’s truth to others. 　 　I will do my best to accomplish this great plan in my life. I will carry out my belief in Jeung San Do with one mind and sincerity, attentiveness, and faithfulness. 　 　앞으로의 계획 　저는 앞으로 스리랑카에 증산도 진리를 전하고 싶습니다. 스리랑카는 불교국가이지만 절에서만 불교도일 뿐이고 집에 와서는 진정한 신앙인의 모습으로 살아가지 않습니다. 하지만 증산도는 정확하고 완벽한 가르침이며 생활신앙이라고 생각합니다. 　 　현재 스리랑카는 남인도 테러리스트들에 의해 위험하고 불안한 상태입니다. 저는 무술을 가르칠 수 있는 자격증도 있으니, 사람들에게 무술과 신도세계에 대한 가르침을 시작으로 상제님 진리를 전하려고 합니다. 　 　저는 제 인생의 큰 계획이 있으며 앞으로도 그것을 이뤄나가기 위해 계속 노력할 것입니다. 일심과 성경신으로 증산도를 신앙하겠습니다. 감사합니다.
